Vets4Energy Meets with US Senators

On May 23, Vets4Energy program director Capt. James McCormick, USA (ret.) came to Washington, DC, to meet with U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV).  The Senator wholeheartedly expressed that he is with V4E and its national security-energy security message.  McCormick also met with Mara Boggs, Manchin's longtime senior staffer, who endorsed what Manchin said.

Capt. McCormick then met with U.S. Senator Shelly Moore Capito (R-WV), who is also on point with same support for Vets4Energy. 

Both U.S. Senators have expressed that they plan to publicly support Vets4Energy views. 

McCormick also stopped in to Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s office (D-MA) and spoke with her staffers about Vets4Energy and energy issues.  He promised to contact the office about hosting a conference call with the Senator and our group of New England Veterans to talk about energy security.
