Vets4Energy Event in Colorado

On August 1-2, 2016, Vets4Energy, the Rocky Mountain Energy Forum, the United Veterans Coalition of Colorado (UVCC) and Volunteers of America sponsored a dinner and breakfast that reached more than 130 veterans, community leaders and elected officials, including the leaders of the Colorado House and Senate.
The Adjutant General of Colorado, Major General H. Michael Edward was a keynote speaker followed by Vets4Energy National Liaison Rear Admiral Donald Loren, USN (ret.) and Colorado Vets4Energy Volunteer Chairperson Leanne Wheeler.
Topics ranged from providing veterans with tools to better access energy-related jobs (for example, Veteran Energy Pipeline Job site) to how energy security effects our country’s national security.
