TJ McGarvey, Veteran of Vietnam War, Speaks in Suport of KXL

Key leaders of Pennsylvania's business and labor commuities, along with a noted veteran, spoke in support of the long-delayed Keystone XL pipeline. The event was hosted by American Petroleum Institute (API) and held at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh on Wednesday, October 2, 2013.
Speaking as a veteran of the Vietnam War, Pittsburgh native and member of Vets4Energy, TJ McGarvey, asked that America no longer send it's sons and daughters overseas to protect other nation's energy resources. "Instead," McGarvey told the gathering, "we ought to be exploiting our own resources here at home." His five-minute portion of the event can be seen below:
