"Based on my military experience, I am keenly aware of the need for a multifaceted approach to protect American national security; therefore, I support the proposed Keystone Pipeline. The American economy depends on oil imported from foreign nations. However, importing oil from nations representing a threat to U.S. national security is not as necessary today as it has been in the past...."
