Energy Speaks Hosts Lunch and Learn

Energy Speaks and the Harrison County chamber of Commerce teamed up Thursday to lunch and learn.
Attendees heard from two key note speakers who told them about the state of our oil and natural gas industry. They shared the upstream, midstream, downstream impacts of the business and how we as a country can work to secure energy independence in the future. There were a few specific things that the speakers hoped the audience would take away from the event.
"[I hope] that they have a better understanding of how important this is for our country, and how important this is for our state, and how very critical it is for us as a nation and as a state to become energy independent," said James McCormick of Vets4Energy.
