Capt. McCormick Testifies at EPA Science Advisory Board

Vets4Energy testifies at EPA Advisory Board on June 14, 2016.

Captain James McCormick, USA (ret), program director for Vts4Energy, testified at the EPA Science Advisory Board Hearing, on June 14, 2016. 

As one of 25 speakers, Capt. McCormick provided his perspective as a veteran, a farmer, and a West Virginian, to affirm the EPA's findings that hydraulic fracturing does not harm groundwater (or in EPA's words, "We did not find evidence that these mechanisms have led to widespread, systemic impacts to drinking water resources in the United States.”).   

He was one of the few to receive applause at the end of his testimony.
