Tony Caldarelli, Captain, PAANG

Tony Caldarelli was a Distinguished Military Graduate of Slippery Rock University Army ROTC. In addition to his careers in the private sector and in higher education, Tony was a reserve component infantry officer and his military schooling includes the Air Assault School, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Commandant’s List Graduate of The Infantry Officer Basic Course, and The Distinguished Honor Graduate of Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Warfare Defense Course. The positions he held include Rifle Platoon Leader, Mortar Platoon Leader, Rifle Company Executive Officer, Battalion Maintenance Officer, Rifle Company Commander and from November 2004 to November 2005, he served as the Logistics Officer (S4) for the 463D Engineer Combat Battalion (Heavy) (Forward), Camp Anaconda, Balad, Salah ad Din Province, Iraq. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Juniata College in Geology and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Miami University. He worked 22 years in a variety of positions in Higher Education and for six years in the oil and gas industry as a Training Manager and Leadership Trainer. Currently Tony is an adjunct Leadership and Oilfield Training Instructor, Pierpont Community and Technical College – Center for Workforce Education and is Senior Consultant at Morgan Management Consulting.
