Rich DeNoyer, 1st Lt., USMC
Richard began his Marine Corps career by enlisting on November 15, 1960. During a twenty-two year career he advanced through the ranks to Gunnery Sergeant, the Warrant Officer ranks to CWO2, and the Commissional ranks to first Lieutenant. He served in the Republic of South Vietnam from 1966-1967 with Ammo Company, Force Logistics Support Group “A”, 3rd Marine Division near Da Nang.
Upon retirement in 1982, Richard pursued a career with the Paralyzed Veterans of America as a Senior Benefits Advocate and National Field Director retiring in 2004.
In 2009, he was elected to national office in the Veterans of Foreign Wars which culminated with him serving as the Commander-in-Chief 2011-2012.
Richard is a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Marine Corps Association, Marine Corps Mustang Association, U.S. Marine Corps Drill Instructor Association, and Military Officers Association of America.
