Q. What branch of the military did you serve under? What was your position in the military?
A. I served six years in the U.S. Air Force.
Q. What is your current position?
A. I'm a mechanic at Chevron.
Q. Serving in the military provides great leadership skills. Beyond that, what skills and experiences did you learn in the military that enable you to be successful on the job?
A. Some of the important skills and experience I had were learning fundamentals of jet engine overhaul and maintenance, repair and replacement of major components such as gear boxes, spray rings, and bearings, basic computer skills, creating charts and spreadsheets, basic electrical reading Multimeter, wiring diagrams and troubleshooting.
