James Mariska, Colonel, USA (ret.)
Colonel James Mariska served 34 years in the Army. He was part of the Alaska Command for two and half years and also served three training deployments to Europe. He was the recipient of the Legion of Merit; Meritorious Service Medal w/2 olc; Army Commendation Medal; Army Commendation Medal w/1olc; and Good Conduct Medal. Colonel Mariska currently serves
on the Yellowstone County Veterans Cemetery Board; the Yellowstone County United Veterans Council; City of Billings Public Works Board; the Reserve Officers Association Chapter 2; the American Legion Post 117; and is an active Rotarian.
