From Seoul to Mexico City, pressure mounts to ease U.S. oil export ban

Washington is facing growing international pressure to ease its long standing ban on crude oil exports, with South Korea and Mexico joining the European Union in pressing the case for U.S. oil shipments overseas.

More than 160 House Republicans are urging the Obama administration to open up more areas to offshore drilling in a new five-year lease plan for oil and gas development.

Admiral Loren was the keynote speaker for the State Building Trades, where he delivered a powerful speech focusing on energy independence, the relationship between sound energy policies and national security, and veteran employment in the petroleum development and production industry.
