Rita Case, USN

Rita Case joined the military after her husband was injured while on deployment with the US Army in Iraq. 

Rita served in the United States Navy and Navy Reserves from 2010-2015 and was assigned to a Seabee unit (NMCB-17) as a Logistics Specialist. 

Advocating on behalf of military veterans and their families is a passion for Rita. She currently assists transitioning veterans as a Veteran Services Coordinator at a Community College. She has spearheaded efforts to increase the efficiency of GI Bill processing, as well as established a peer-to-peer mentoring program on her campus. 

Rita serves as the Secretary of the Colorado Advisory Council on Military Education and is a board member of the West Metro Veterans Resources Network. In her free time, she is pursuing her Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership at Regis University.
